College Expert Advice I wrote an essay of 1550 words and it was barely 4.5 pages . This is a great guide, but people should be aware that these are just estimates. It would be 500,000 words if the pages are doubled spaced, and it would be 1 million words if the pages are single spaced. All you have to do is a little math to figure that out. Of course, if there is a lot of information to cover in order to explore each area, you may need more. This is a rule of thumb, which means it wonât always work quite that way, but itâs handy all the same. And when you read a story about food, most people warm up and start thinking about their own favorite foods and family gatherings. Thatâs why we start the Story To College Essay in a Day course with Memorable Meal stories. To avoid getting tangled up in one aspect of the discussion, youâll have to decide how long it should be. If itâs the most important aspect informing your conclusion, you can spend a little more time on that particular point. You should change them so they are more accurate for people who use longer vocabulary words. And if you really wanted to know, you could do the calculations to figure it out. In academic work, your paragraphs are likely to be a bit longer than most of the ones you see in this blog post. On average, there are usually 100 to 200 words in a paragraph. So if youâd like a guesstimate, you can assume that a 1,000-word essay will have between five and ten paragraphs. If you can send me in the direction of the best wide font to do this, that would be great. Depending on the genre of book you are writing, word count can be critical in whether or not your writing can actually be published. Publishers like certain genres to be within certain word counts, so any author who hopes to be published has to create their works within these counts. Many authors use word count as a motivational tool. For example, I am currently writing a paper and have 5,000 words, but only 17 pages . Things like paragraph size and headers need to be taken into account as well. Aye how many words do I have to put if Iâm typing a 14 page essay. Without a daily word count, I would never complete them. What am I supposed to do if I write 1000 words, but it doesnât make the number of pages I want?
